Your journey begins at Bandaranaike International Airport (Katunayake), where you will be welcomed by our friendly representative holding a personalized name board. After a short briefing, your private driver-guide will escort you in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your adventure.
Depending on your arrival time, you’ll either rest nearby or head towards the Dambulla/Sigiriya region, located within the island’s famous Cultural Triangle.

This day is about settling in, recovering from your flight, and getting a taste of Sri Lanka’s warm hospitality.
Overnight Stay: Dambulla/Sigiriya area (eco-lodge or hotel)
Wake up to the calm sounds of nature and start your day with a delicious local breakfast. Today, you’ll be immersed in village life, surrounded by paddy fields, small lakes, and simple rural charm.

Overnight Stay: Sigiriya village stay (eco-lodge or farm-style guesthouse)
Early in the morning, beat the crowds and climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century royal palace built atop a massive rock. Explore its ancient frescoes, water gardens, mirror wall, and the majestic Lion’s Paw. At the summit, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the jungle and surrounding landscape.
Then, visit Pidurangala Rock, just a few minutes away. Though lesser known, the view of Sigiriya from the top is unmatched—ideal for photographers and nature lovers.
🐘 Afternoon:
After exploring the rocks, drive south to Pinnawala, home to the world-renowned Elephant Orphanage. Here, you can observe elephants being bathed in the river and see baby elephants being bottle-fed. Learn about conservation efforts and capture beautiful moments up close.
Evening: Check in to your hotel, relax by the river or poolside.
Overnight Stay: Pinnawala or Kegalle area
Travel back through the Cultural Triangle to visit the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its colorful murals and ancient statues carved into rock caves. It’s one of the most spiritually moving places in the country.
Then continue your journey to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka. On the way, stop at a herbal spice garden for a quick tour.

Arrive in Kandy and enjoy a city tour that includes:
Temple of the Tooth Relic – the most sacred Buddhist site in Sri Lanka
Walk around Kandy Lake
Explore the bazaar and local market
Optional: Cultural dance show in the evening
Before sunset, drive to the stunning Ambuluwawa Biodiversity Tower, a one-of-a-kind spiral tower on top of a hill. Climb the tower for panoramic views of valleys, tea estates, and distant mountains—a thrilling and unique experience.
Overnight Stay: Kandy or Gampola highlands
Begin your final day with an early drive into the scenic hill country. Wind through tea estates, waterfalls, and mist-covered valleys as you reach Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England.”

Visit a working tea plantation and factory
Walk around Gregory Lake and colonial-era buildings
Enjoy fresh strawberries and cool mountain air
Then, continue to Horton Plains National Park for a refreshing nature trek. Hike through grasslands and cloud forest to reach World’s End, a dramatic drop with panoramic views stretching across the island. On your way back, stop at Baker’s Falls, a scenic natural waterfall hidden within the park.
🚗 In the late afternoon, travel to Ella, a laid-back hill town surrounded by mountains. Check in and relax.
